The Prophet came to Boise

The Prophet came to Boise to rededicate the Temple. The youth were able to participate in a Youth Cultural Celebration. Many of the wards performed at the Taco Bell Arena for the prophet. There was an amazing spirit there. There were over 9,000 youth that were in the presence of the Prophet.

Katie was partnered with our great friend Ryan Shuck. They are the cute couple in the back row that has the perfect lift (second from left).
The prophet had a hard time staying in his seat to watch the performances. You could tell he loved every minute of it. Elder Ballard had to keep him in his seat. What an amazing opportunity for the youth.

Fun with leaves

This is my favorite picture of the Kids in the leaves.

Evan was the first to get in.

Mya did not like the feel of being in the leaves. She never did lay flat on the ground.

Macie is a natural.

Kinsey was almost too big to hide.

Mustache pictures

We had a great time taking pictures for Chads Birthday in September. I bought the mustaches at the dollar store. We had a great day. Too bad Chad does not have a mustache anymore. His new calling means he needs to be clean shaven.

Macie's Baptism

Macie turned 8.  We had such a great weekend.  Grandma Robin spent a few days with us to share this special day.  Poor Kinsey was really sick with a cold but she was there to support her sister.  Evan had a hard time making it through the long day.

Macie was so beautiful.  I am so proud that she chose to be baptized.

New Hair cut

My handsome Guy.
I have Kept Evans hair a little longer because I did not want to cut off the curls.  His curls no longer are needed so we cut it really short.  He wanted to look like uncle Jim.  I love how handsome he looks and it made him look so grown up.

We went to a Concert!!!!!!!

For Christmas, Chad's Mom and Dad got us tickets to a country concert. We had such a great time.  She also got tickets for Katie and Shane.  I need to get pictures from Shane to add here.

First to perform was Scotty McCreery.  He was very good.

The Band Perry was the next to perform.  I love their music.

The final performer was Brad Paisley.  He really knows how to put on a show.  This is when he came closer to perform.

This is showing how far away we were.

Here he is singing close up.

The best part for Katie was when Carrie Underwood showed up for the Duet with Brad.  Katie was in tears.  I wish I was closer to Katie to get a picture.

Thank You Vickie and Gary.  We had such a great time.  Memories to last forever.  Thanks for the Shirt for Katie.  She loves it.

Grandpa and Uncle Steve came to visit

The kids had a great time with Grandpa and Uncle Steven (Steve is what Mya called him).

I love this picture of Steven with Kinsey.

Grandpa and Katie

Grandpa and Macie

Uncle Steve and Mya

Uncle Steven and Evan.  You take away the St and you are left with Evan.  These two look alike.

Evan got to spend the most time with Grandpa.  They played super hero for a long time.
We had a great time. Hope we get together a little more often.

Evan is a Tiger

Evan got into my eyeliner and made himself a Tiger.

He was a little sad he did not get his face painted like the girls.  I guess he had his own look in mind.

School is back in session

Katie is leaving for 8th grade.

Kinsey is a fourth Grader.

Macie is a second grader.

Evan was taking pictures too.

Mya with her new backpack.  She left with her therapist.

Mya's first day of Kindergarten.

Mya's first day on the bus.

I love that the bus picks her up at the house.
Now it is Evan and I at home.  What will we ever do?

Painting Katie's Room

Katie has wanted her room painted for a long time.  We finally did it.

Here it is all taped off.

We started with her name.

She is a goofball.

Mom painted.

Kinsey Painted.

Mya painted.

Dad painted.  Macie painted but I did not get a good picture of her.

Her ipod blends in very well.

Here is the final product all dry.  Once we get her new bed I will post pictures of the final room.

Kids Carnival

Mya's therapy office had a kids carnival and we had so much fun.  We were there for three hours playing on the many jump houses, eating hotdogs and cotton candy, and getting faces painted by the clowns. I did not have my camera out while we were at the carnival because I had to watch Mya and Evan.  Chad ended up not being able to go because our friends the Shucks needed him more.  They were out of town and their oldest boy fell off of a roof and broke his right wrist and cracked his left elbow.  Chad went to be the father figure and give him a blessing. I took pictures when we got home.

Macie made a very cute puppy.

This is Pirate Kinsey.

Here is a close up of her face.

Evan got a sword.

Mya was a butterfly.
